Description
(54) CERAMIC MASS
The invention relates to the building materials industry and is used for the production of coarse building ceramics, mainly bricks. The known ceramic mass for the manufacture of building products, including wt.%: Clay 75-80, grinding waste from plastic plastics 10-15, burnable additive 5-10 1. Most close to the proposed ceramic mass is for the manufacture of brick, including clay (6070 wt.% and floats of fluorite ore concentration (25-40 wt.%) 2. The disadvantage of these masses is the insufficiently high strength of the products. The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength. This goal is achieved by the fact that the ceramic mass for the manufacture of predominantly bricks, including clay and a leaning additive, as the latter contains screenings of an orthophil fraction of 0.15-2.0 mm in the following ratio of components, wt.%: Clay 72-90 Screened orthophyre fraction 0 , 15-2 mm10-28 The chemical composition of the ortofirs is as follows, wt%: SiO j 65.35, AljOj 12.36, FejOj 7.14, CaO 2.55, MgO 1.62, KjO 4.22, NajO 4, 5, SPT 1.5. In terms of mineralogy, orthophirs are represented by orthoclase, microcliomas, oligoclase, plagioclase in an amount up to 5570%, quartz 30-35%, chlorite and zipidot are single grains. To obtain clay bricks, a number of mixtures with various amounts of ortofir were prepared. Each mixture is made by plastic molding, dried and calcined at 950-980 ° C. The resulting products have physical and mechanical properties given in the table. The tests show the effectiveness of the introduction of orthophir screenings in the amount of 10-28% compared with 25-40% of the tailings of fluorite.
