Description
(54) METHOD FOR CLEANING AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS; from METALS
The invention relates to methods for purification of water from metals and can be used in the purification of wastewater from metallurgical enterprises. There is a method of separating non-ferrous metals from aqueous solutions by treating them with a solution of sulfur in the slit and; The disadvantages of this method are: high content in the solutions after treatment of sodium sulfate, which requires their additional processing for an even-matt purification / purification is not provided. A method is also known to purify acid wastewater from arsenic and heavy non-ferrous metals by precipitating them with lime 2. However, this method does not provide purification from selenium, as well as high pH values for normative treatment of nickel effluent. The closest in technical essence to the present invention is a method for separating non-ferrous metals from aqueous solutions in the form of sulfides by treating them with a mixture of a solution of sulfur in alkali and calcium hydroxide. The disadvantage of this method is that its use does not provide the necessary depth of sewage treatment from mouse and selenium. The purpose of the invention is selective purification of selenium. This goal is achieved in that the treatment of acid wastewater containing minerals, selenium, copper, nickel and iron is carried out with a solution of sulfur in calcium hydroxide successively: first up to. pH values of 0.70, 8 and redox potential from +300 to +330 mV, then after separation of the solid product. processing of the filtrate is continued to pH 7.5-8.0 and redox potential from -300 to -330 mV on a platinum electrode relative to chlorine-silver. When treating the filtrate with a mixture of a solution of sulfur in calcium hydroxide and milk of lime to a pH of 7.5-6.0 and a redox potential from -250 to -300 mV, the consumption of sulfur decreases. The upper limit of the potential and pH at the first stage of processing is due to the fact that when the potential is
