Description
The invention relates to an electrocontact treatment in an electrically conductive liquid medium and is intended for cutting blanks and slotting grooves in trees having large cross sections of the cut. and. However, these methods do not allow for efficient processing of large workpieces. This is due to the fact that as the electrode disc penetrates into the part, the contact surfaces between them increase, which leads to significant leakage of electric current. There is also known an electrocontact processing method, in which, in order to reduce the energy intensity of the process by eliminating leaks of the electrical current-carrying surfaces of the disk-electrode, they are covered with an insulating layer. However, the insulation layer of the porygory does not have sufficient strength as well. The coating process itself is complex and expensive. This increases the cost of producing a disk electrode. On the other hand, during processing, the destruction of the coating layer is possible. Hitting the interelectrode gap, the particles of the coating create additional resistance, which leads to the cost of electricity and in some cases the termination of the process itself. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the energy intensity of the electrocontact processing process by eliminating parasitic currents on the side surfaces of the disc electrode. The goal is achieved by the fact that, in the method of electrocontact machining of parts, containing a rotating part by a rotating disk. The electrode over the depth of the part and the supply of electric current to the machining zone, change the level

As a result of lowering the liquid level, the resulting interelectrode air gap performs the function of protecting leakage currents through the side surfaces of the electrode disc.
In comparison with the known methods, the proposed method has a power consumption lower by 30-4% by eliminating parasitic currents on the lateral surfaces of the disc-electrode and makes it possible to cut parts with a large cross-section of the cut.
