Description

The fixture is intended for applying glue on scraper tapes (wrappers, telegrams, etc.).

A distinctive feature of the proposed fixture is the use of a cork valve with a slit hole through which glue is fed to the climber. The presence of a crane allows stopping the supply of glue to the tape if necessary. The belt is pulled by hand between the body of the crane and the spring loaded clamp; . The supply of glue is carried out by a flexible hose from a special glass.

From the nipple, the glue enters the cork valve 2 (Fig. 1 and 3) with a slit hole. The slotted hole of the crane exactly coincides with the slot in the guide 1. If you turn the valve 2 by 90 °, the slotted hole of the crane will also rotate 90 °, then the exit to the tape will be closed.

At the same time, by turning the crane 2, the clamp 7 will be lifted and the tape will be inserted freely into the guide 7. The valve will open to the reverse of the valve turns, but the slot opening will be closed by the tape itself pressed by the clamp 7 (Fig. 1).

During operation, the lubricator is held with the right hand. Using the left hand, the ribbon is pulled out of the device, smeared down} with the necessary layer of clogs ready for labeling. At the end of the work, shut off the valve, stopping the release of glue and at the same time isolating it from air, prevent it from drying out.
