(54) STEERING ASSEMBLY
8.This invention relates to shipbuilding. A steering device is known that contains two rudders symmetrically located with respect to the vessel diametral plane behind its stern and mounted by means of rollers in guides, the rudders having a unit connected by means of cables and guiding blocks to the main drive 1. The known device has an oolshi of size and weight that is good for its operational maintenance. The purpose of the invention is to improve the performance properties of the steering device. The goal is achieved by the fact that the proposed steering device is provided with an additional drive, with the ends of the cable connected with an additional drive, kinematically connecting the additional drive through guide blocks and blocks of rudders to the main drive. Figure 1 shows the described steering device, top view; figure 2 is the same, side view; on fig.Z view A of figure 2. The steering device contains two rolls 1, symmetrically located relative to the median plane of the vessel behind its stern. The handlebars 1 are mounted by means of the rollers 2 in the guides 3, and the handlebars have blocks 4, which are connected by cables 5 and through guide blocks 6 to the main drive 7. The device is equipped with an additional drive 8, to which the ends of the cable 5 are connected. The additional drive 8 is connected through the guide blocks b and the rudder blocks 4 with the main drive 7. The device operates as follows. When the vessel is moving along both straight rudders 1, the additional drive 8 is raised above the level. If the main drive 7 changes course, one of the rudders 1 is lowered into the flow, while the second rudder rises, serving as a counterweight to the first rudder. This arrangement of the rudders allows the use of an additional drive 8 of low power. Emergency braking of the vessel is performed simultaneously by immersing both rudders 1 into the stream using an additional drive 8.
