Description

The invention relates to the field of flow measurement, in particular, can be used in the study of gas exchange processes of objects with multicomponent liquid or gaseous media. A known method for measuring the absorption of a component of a multicomponent medium by biological materials is that the consumption of a component of a medium is compensated by adding to the medium the mixture containing this component in excess while reducing the concentration of this component in media below a predetermined level 1. This method does not measure instantaneous values component consumption, and also to maintain the concentration of the component in the medium at a given level. The purpose of the invention is to measure the instantaneous values of the component consumption in the medium and maintaining a stable concentration of the component in the environment. This goal is achieved due to the fact that the concentration of the consumed component in the medium after consumption is kept constant by continuously introducing a compensating mixture into the medium, the flow rate of the compensating mixture is measured and judging by its value the consumption of the consumed component. The drawing shows a schematic diagram implementing the proposed method. To implement the method, working chamber 1, object 2, consuming the component in the medium, sensor 3, concentration of the component in the medium, amplifier discriminator 4, control unit 5, regulating device 6, chamber 7 and the flow meter 8 are used. consumed by object 2 causes a deviation of its concentration in the medium from a given value. The selective component concentration sensor 3 gives a signal on the component concentration to the discriminator amplifier 4, where the signal from the sensor 3 is amplified and compared with a predetermined level of component concentration in the medium. The difference signal of the deviation of the concentration of the component from a predetermined value from the amplifier-discriminator 4 is fed to the control unit 5, which controls the regulating device 6. The latter controls the supply of the compensating mixture with a known concentration
