Изобретение относитс к области черной металлургии. Известен способ получени сил.икомарганца, заключающийс в проплавлении шихты, состо щей из кварцита, марганецсодержащего материала и кокоика. Предложенный способ отличаетс тем, что, с целью повьппени извлечени марганца, в щихту периодически через 3-20 м,ин загружают смесь карбида кремни и железа. Соотнощение карбида кремни и железа в смеси составл ет (1 :0,1) - (1 : 0,9). Пример. Выплавку сили-комарганца производили в дуговой одноэлектродной электропечи с провод щей гГодиной и мощностью трансформатора 80 ква. В печь непрерывно загружали шихту, состо щую из 4,5 кг марганцевого концентрата, 1,1 кг кварцита, 1,3 кг коксика и 0,3 кг доломита (на одну колошу). Периодически через одну загрузку вместо 0,6 кг кварцита и 0,4 кг кокснка в шихту вводили смесь из 0,4 кг карбида кремни и 0,2 кг железной стружки. В резу.тьтате извлеченпе марганца повысилось до 93%, расход энергии снизилс на 6,3%.
