Description
Consideration of modern high-power turbine generators at 1500 rpm shows that the degree of use of active and structural materials depends largely on the amount of copper placed in the slots of the rotor winding. With a properly designed machine of a given diameter, the generator power also increases with increasing copper weight. With the slots currently used in the rotors of the turbogenerators, the weight of the copper of the rotor is predetermined by a narrow section of the rotor tooth. The minimum narrow section of the tooth, with a rotor ventilation system adopted, is strictly defined in terms of manufacturing capabilities. Mechanical and magnetic loads of the rotor, as a rule, do not always limit the reduction of a narrow section of the tooth. Consequently, the use of the machine, among other factors, depends on the cross section of the rotor tooth.
In the present invention, in order to increase the copper filling of the rotor of the turbogenerator with not clearly expressed poles, it is proposed to use two types of grooves of different depths arranged in alternation around the circumference of the rotor, as shown in the schematic drawing.
1 :1,3-1:1,5. The depth of the grooves can be performed in a ratio of about 1: 1.3-1: 1.5.
The main advantage of such grooves is that the weight of the copper of the rotor is not limited to a narrow section of the tooth, but is determined by calculation as a function of mechanical stresses, thermal and magnetic loads. Calculations show that the use of such grooves in turbogenerators 50,000 and 100,000 kW at 1,500 rpm, where the voltages on the surface of the inner undercut are small and the magnetic inductions in the frames do not exceed 6,000 GFD Gauss. Having deepened half the slots of the rotor of the turbogenerator, it is possible, without reducing the existing minimum cross section of the tooth and even without disturbing the sub-valve ventilation of half the slots, to place 20 ° / o more copper in the rotor, and therefore the active length of the machine can be reduced accordingly.
