Description
A known method for the production of citric acid, in which a nutrient solution prepared by diluting molasses with the addition of the required amount of salts to ensure optimal activity of the process, non-sterilized, is fermented in fermenters with Aspergillus niger fungus. The resulting fermented solution containing up to 80% citric acid, as well as up to 15-18% oxalic acid and gluconic acid, is filtered to separate the biomass. The filtrate is nitralized with lime milk or chalk.
Количество серной кислоты регулируют таким образом , чтобы не допустить расщеплени оксалата кальци .As a result of neutralization, insoluble calcium salts of citric and oxalic acids (citrate and calcium oxalate) are formed and the gluconic acid salt is calcium gluconate; the neutralized solution is filtered, whereby calcium gluconate is removed with the filtrate. Calcium citrate and oxalate, washed on the filter from sugar and other soluble impurities, enter the reactor, where only calcium citrate is cleaved by adding sulfuric acid. The amount of sulfuric acid is adjusted so as to prevent the breakdown of calcium oxalate.
Осадок на фильтре в основном чане, полученный в результате расщеплени цитрата кальци серной кислоты, и нерасщеплениый оксалат кальци не используют и направл ют в отвал, тем самым сырые используют не полностью .The mass is centrifuged, the resulting crystals are dried and packaged in containers. The filter cake in the main tank, obtained by the decomposition of calcium citrate with sulfuric acid, and non-digestible calcium oxalate are not used and sent to the dump, thus not fully used raw.
The proposed method makes it possible in parallel to obtain oxalic acid along with citric acid and to more fully utilize the raw material. For this, calcium oxalate is treated
Мелассу сбраживают в глубинных услови х в лимонную кислоту указанным известным способом.sulfuric acid, the solution is filtered, evaporated and crystallized, after which the oxalic acid crystals obtained are separated and dried. The essence of the method is as follows. The molasses is fermented under deep conditions to citric acid by the indicated method.
The filtrate obtained from the fermented solutions after the separation of the biomass is neutralized with lime milk and filtered; the resulting calcium salts of citric and oxalic acids (citrate and calcium oxalate), after washing with hot water, are fed to the reactor, where calcium citrate is decomposed
монной кислоты и гипса, а оксалат кальци остаетс неразложенным.monic acid and gypsum, and calcium oxalate remains unalloyed.
The suspension is filtered. The filtrate - citric acid solution - is processed into crystalline citric acid.
При этом образуетс раствор щавелевой кислоты и сульфат кальци (гипс).The precipitate obtained on the filter, consisting mainly of gypsum and calcium oxalate, is further processed to produce crystalline oxalic acid. Calcium oxalate containing gypsum is treated with sulfuric acid in an amount necessary to completely decompose calcium oxalate. This forms a solution of oxalic acid and calcium sulfate (gypsum).
The final isolation of the oxalic acid solution is carried out by means of filtration. The resulting filtrate was evaporated to a specific gravity of 1.16-1.18, filtered to separate the precipitated gypsum during evaporation. The filtrate enters the 2nd evaporation, where it is evaporated to a specific gravity of 1.26-1.30. One stripped off solution is crystallized by cooling to form oxalic acid crystals. Crystallization mass otfugovyvat, oxalic acid crystals are washed with cold water and dried.
