Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to the selection and seed production of watermelon and also to the production of hybrid seeds.
Methods are known for producing hybrid seeds of table watermelon, in which plants with marker traits, such as uncut or with a yellow-green leaf color, are used as the maternal form.
These markers position hybrid plants in phase 1-3 of true leaves. The disadvantage of this method is high laboriousness, which is associated with manual labor when culling, inconvenience in the selection.
Известен способ получени гибридных сем н арбуза столового путем свободного переопылени отцовской формы и материнской рецессивной холодоустойчивой формы , проращивани при t - 14-16° С в течение 5-7 сут и удалени наклюнувшихс ,There is a known method of obtaining table seeds for watermelon hybrid seeds by free re-pollinating the paternal form and the maternal recessive cold-resistant form, germinating at t = 14-16 ° C for 5-7 days and removing stumble,
а оставшиес семена вл ютс гибридными и их используют дл посева.and the remaining seeds are hybrid and are used for sowing.
The disadvantage of this method is the low yield of hybrid seeds from the hybridization site due to the fact that hybrid seeds are obtained only from the fruits of the mother form, which occupies 50-67% of the plot area.
The purpose of the inventions is to increase the yield of hybrid seeds at the hybridization site due to the possibility of their production in all plants.
The goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method, which includes crossing the maternal form with recessive cold resistance genes with the paternal form, sprouting hybrid seeds at t 14-16 ° C for 5-7 days and culling sticking seeds, as the paternal form plants with recessive cold-resistance genes, while maternal and paternal forms should be nonallelic recessive

ми генами холодоустойчивости в гомозиготном состо нии, и проращивают семена от реципроктного скрещивани с растений обеих родительских форм.cold resistance genes in a homozygous state, and seeds are germinated from reciprocal crossing from plants of both parental forms.
The method is implemented as follows.
Семена выдел ют из всех плодов на участке гибридизации, а затем производ т выбраковку перед посевом посредством проращивани .Seeds of the original forms with recessive nonallelic cold resistance genes, such as the forms of Lulslna Queen and Volgar, are sown and seeded for free replenishing. Seeds are isolated from all fruits at the hybridization site and then rejected before sowing by germination.
In tab. Figure 1 shows the data on the distribution of watermelon seeds by sticking at the germination temperature of 15 ± 1 ° C for 5-7 days for recessive cold-resistant forms and reciprocal hybrids.
Анализ таблицы подтверждает существование неаллельных генов холодоустойчивости , задержку прорастани сем н реципроктных гибридов, что позвол ет осуществл ть дифференциацию сем н прорастани .The analysis of the table confirms the existence of nonallelic cold resistance genes, the delay in the germination of seeds of reciprocal hybrids, which allows the differentiation of seeds of germination.
In tab. Figure 2 shows the data on the change in the yield of hybrid seeds per unit area of the hybridization plot, depending on the method of obtaining seeds.

The data table. 2 indicate that the use of recessive forms with nonallelic cold resistance genes as parent components for the production of hybrid seeds allows their yields to be increased 1.7 times as compared with the known method.
The method can be used on all cultures with recessive cold-resistant forms, which are known for nonallelic genes of this trait.
