Изобретение относитс к сельскому хоз йству и может быть использовано в селекции люцерны с высокой семенной продуктивностью .The invention relates to agriculture and can be used in the breeding of alfalfa with high seed productivity.
1.There is a method of creating highly productive varieties of alfalfa by direct selection of highly productive plants 1.
Установленно, что этот признак при пр мых отборах слабо закрепл етс .However, fixing the trait of increased seed productivity by direct selection of plants within a variety is ineffective. It is established that this feature is poorly fixed during direct selections.
2.There is a known method of creating highly productive varieties of alfalfa by hybridization in combination with directional multiple selection using some of the best biotypes with a high degree of fertility, fruit formation, high attractiveness, and its flower power from hybrids that were previously harvested from the crop of green mass in the nursery with feed 2
This method of creating highly productive varieties of alfalfa is not very effective in conditions of high temperatures and low relative humidity and does not allow the creation of varieties with increased productivity.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the productivity of the created varieties.
Постав;1енна цель достигаетс тем, что при подборе родительских компонентов дополнительно учитывают длину пыльцевых трубок, при этом в гибридизацию включают растени , у которых длина пыльцевых трубок достоверно превышает среднее дл попул ции .The goal of this goal is achieved by the fact that when selecting parental components, the length of pollen tubes is additionally taken into account, while in hybridization they include plants in which the length of pollen tubes significantly exceeds the average for the population.
In particular, hybridization includes parental components, in which the length of pollen tubes when grown on a nutrient medium in the first 2-3 hours reaches 175-275 microns.
Example. Twenty brushes from each biotype or line are analyzed, from which pollen is taken from a blossoming flower with a spatula and sown on a glass slide 4 times into a drop (agar medium with sucrose added). Then mix it in a Petri dish on a moistened filtered paper in an oven at 25-30C. Using a microscope with a measuring binocular, a survey and measurement of the length of pollen tubes was carried out. Biotypes in which pollen tubes reach more than 175 microns in the first hours of observation are selected and attracted to hybridization.
In tab. 1 shows the data on the length
с пыльцевых трубок (t) через 2-3 ч после посева .with pollen tubes (t) 2-3 hours after seeding.
As shown by the data of table 1, the main high-yielding varieties bred by the proposed method, pollen tubes quickly germinate, and after 2-3 hours
0 have a length of 180-264 microns, reach the germinal sac and seed of the kidney faster, while the standard variety Khersonaska has 7-110 microns.
2 shows some cytoem5 biological indicators of seed productivity of alfalfa varieties and yield (average data 1979-1982)
+0,60±0,10.The data show that in high-yielding alfalfa varieties pollen tubes 0 grow faster. The sign length of pollen tubes is related to the sign of seeds for 1 bean, pcs. + 0.60 ± 0.10.
Using the proposed method allows to bring high-yielding varieties of alfalfa with high seed productivity, which exceed the parental forms and the standard (basic) variety to 100 percent or more.
