The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of the connection, eliminate the deformation of the beryllium window, decrease the welding temperature and expand the technological possibilities when welding a beryllium window with a stainless steel body. Previously, a coating of a material with high adhesiveness and diffusion mobility, for example, chromium, is applied onto the welded surface of the stainless steel housing around the perimeter. Copper foil, a beryllium window and a copper ring are installed in series on the coating. A set of removable inserts of thermally conductive material, such as molybdenum, with insulating coatings on contact surfaces, such as titanium yttride, is installed in the opening of the housing and inside the copper ring on either side of the beryllium window. Description
Изобретение относитс к диффузионной сварке и может быть использовано дл соединений бериллиевых входных (ёыход- ных) окон в виде овальных (круглых) пластин с корпусом прибора из нержавеющей стали, в частности детекторов рентгеновского излучени .The invention relates to diffusion welding and can be used to connect beryllium input (output) windows in the form of oval (round) plates with a stainless steel housing, in particular x-ray detectors.
The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the joint, to avoid deformation of the beryllium window, decrease the welding temperature and expand the technological possibilities when welding a beryllium window with a stainless steel body.
The drawing shows an example of the method.
The method is carried out as follows.
Бериллиевое окно 1 располагают между корпусом 2 из нержавеющей стали прибора и медным кольцом 3. Предварительно на свариваемую поверхность 4 корпуса 2 прибора нанос т покрытие 5 из материала с повышенной адгезионной способностью и диффузионной активностью. На покрытии 5 располагают медную фольгу 6. В отверстии корпуса 2 и внутри медного кольца 3 по обе стороны от бериллиевого окна 1 располагают набор удал емых вкладышей 7 из тепло- провод щего материала с изолирующими покрыти ми на контактных поверхност х. В конкретном случае в качестве материала покрыти берут хром, теплопровод Щего мао WA beryllium window 1 is placed between the stainless steel case 2 of the instrument and the copper ring 3. Previously, the surface 5 of the instrument case 4 is coated with a coating 5 of a material with increased adhesiveness and diffusion activity. Copper foil 6 is placed on the coating 5. In the opening of the housing 2 and inside the copper ring 3 on both sides of the beryllium window 1 there is a set of removable inserts 7 of heat-conducting material with insulating coatings on the contact surfaces. In the specific case, chrome is used as the coating material;

The material is molybdenum, the insulating coating is titanium nitride.
The assembled unit is heated in vacuum to the welding temperature, squeezed and isothermal aging is performed, connecting the beryllium window to the instrument case and the copper ring. After welding and cooling the welded assembly, the inserts 7 are removed.
Thanks to a coating of a material with high adhesiveness and diffusion activity, as well as the use of copper foil applied to the surface to be welded, as well as the use of copper foil, the surfaces being welded are activated, which makes it possible to improve the quality of the welded joint and reduce the welding temperature.
,By using a set of removable technological liners of thermally conductive material with insulating coatings on contact surfaces adjacent to the surfaces of the beryllium window, their deformation is prevented during the process of heating and cooling the assembly, and configurations, i.e. The technological capabilities of the method are expanded. ,
П р и м.е р. P r and I r. A chromium coating with a thickness of 5 µm is placed on the welded surface of the stainless steel case around the perimeter of the window, a 50 µm thick copper foil is placed on it, a beryllium window 200 µm thick is installed, and then a 2 mm thick copper ring. A set of removable molybdenum liners with titanium nitride insulating coatings is mounted on the contact surfaces in the opening of the housing and inside the ring. The assembled unit is placed in a vacuum chamber, heated to 650 ° C, squeezed and isothermally aged for 45 minutes. After welding and cooling the assembly, the liners are removed.
