Abstract
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to rural and forestry, in particular, to ornamental gardening. The aim of the invention is to increase the yield of rooted seedlings when growing ornamental crops. Earth cuttings, in particular, easily rooted plants, are harvested and rooted according to the generally accepted method with the difference that all operations are carried out at night during the season with a maximum length of days. Experiments conducted on the same plants showed that the rooting of cuttings planted and planted in the night time of the year was 70 against 20% rooting of cuttings prepared and planted in the traditional way in the morning. The method allows rooting the green cuttings in the open ground without using microclimate systems and pretreatment of cuttings, which will make it possible to reduce the cost of growing the planting material and make the seedlings more hardened to adverse environmental conditions. 1 tab.
Description
The invention relates to rural and forestry and can be used in nursery as well as in reproduction of ornamental crops.
The aim of the invention is to increase the yield of rooted seedlings when growing ornamental crops.
Example. As a control variant, harvesting and rooting of coronary chubushnik (jasmine) cuttings were carried out in the daytime in batches every 3 h in the first half of summer, July II-12 (the best time for rooting is the second half of June). The operations for harvesting shoots, cuttings and planting cuttings were carried out quickly, one after another, so that the time from the beginning of harvesting shoots to planting cuttings into the ground was 1 hour. The cuttings were cut with three pairs of leaves.
The distance in the rows and between the rows of 8 cm. Before planting, the soil was moistened at the rate of 8 L / M-. Watering continued 2 times a day. The registration of rootedness was carried out on October 3 of the current year. In the experimental variant, all operations were carried out similarly to the control variant, with the difference that the preparation and planting of the cuttings were carried out at night.
Data on the rooting of cuttings in the proposed and well-known variants are presented in the table.
01The table shows that the rooting rates of the cuttings in the proposed variant are much higher than in the well-known, namely, the night rooting rate is 70.0 versus 20.0% in the daytime. From this it follows that the daytime, in particular, the morning time of green grafting, is short

The invention makes it possible to root green cuttings in the open field without using microclimate systems and pretreatment, simplify and cheapen the cultivation of easily established plants, and at the same time obtain more hardened planting material to adverse environmental conditions.
