Abstract
(Л С The invention relates to analytical chemistry, and specifically to methods for determining iridium, and can be used to analyze various natural and industrial objects in order to increase sensitivity, simplify the process and improve working conditions. For this purpose, the sample to be analyzed is introduced into the volumetric flask, diluted with a solution of sulfuric acid, solutions of tin (II) bromide and potassium bromide are added and incubated for 15 minutes in a boiling water bath. After cooling, a solution of sulfuric acid is added, and a solution of bis (4-dimethylaminophenyl) - (1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-4-pyrazolin-5-one-4-yl) (hydroxymethane) is added with stirring. diluted with distilled water to 25 ml. The solution is stirred and after 10 minutes the optical density on the SF-16 at D 630 nm relative to the comparison solution is mixed, the same components and in the same quantities, except iridium, are included. The optimum concentration ranges of tin (II) bromide and sulfuric acid are 0.01-0.1 and 0.5-0.1 M, respectively. Under these conditions, the detection limit of iridium is 0.25 µg / ml, which is two times lower than that according to the method of prototype Table 2. (Ls
Description
The invention relates to analytical chemistry, and specifically to methods for the determination of iridium, and can be used to analyze various natural and industrial objects.
The aim of the invention is to increase the sensitivity and simplify the process.
Example C. A 25 ml volumetric flask is injected with an analyzing solution containing 5 µg iridium, the acidity is 0.75 M for sulfuric acid in a volume of 10 ml, 1 ml of 0.5 M tin bromide (P) solution and 1 ml is added. , 5 M potassium bromide solution, incubated for 15 minutes in a boiling water bath. After cooling, sulfuric acid is added to create a total acidity of 0.75 M in a volume of 25 ml, injected with stirring 2 ml 1 solution of bis- ( 4-dimethylaminophenyl) - (1,5-dimesh-1-2-phenyl-4-pyrazolin-5-one-4-yl) -hydroxymethane and diluted with distilled water to 25 ml. Solution eshivayut and after 10 minutes the optical density was measured in the NF-16 nm with respect to a reference solution containing the same components and in the same amounts, except iridium "iridium content determined by the paid-graded graph
Table 1 shows the experimental results of the dependence of the relative error in determining iridium on the concentration of tin (II) bromide in the photometric solution (at a sulfuric acid concentration of 0.75 M). Table 2 presents the experimental results of the dependence of the relative error in the determination of iridium on the concentration of sulfuric acid in the photometric solution at a concentration of tin bromide (P) -0.075 M).
.As follows from the experimental results presented, the optimal conditions for photometric determination of iridium are the end of sulfuric acid in the photometric solution in the range of 0.5-1.0 M and tin (II) bromide - 0.01-0.1 M Under these conditions, the detection limit of iridium is two times lower than this value for a known method and is 0.25 µg / ml. .
Thus, with equal selectivity of the known and proposed methods, the method for determining iridium with (4-dimethylaminophenyl) - (1.55 -Dimethyl-2-fennl-4-pyrazolin-5-on-4-yl) -hydroxymethane has a higher sensitivity, significantly simpler in execution and more expressive, since it does not require long-term sampling of the preparation of iridium working solutions and the method is safer, since it does not involve the use of concentrated acids-perchloric, nitric, phosphoric, and also does not provide
5 evaporating solutions to perchloric acid vapor, which is dangerous. Due to the elimination of these operations, the working conditions are improved and the time for analysis is reduced.
