Description

Electrolytes for galvanic precipitation of iron of high hardness, containing iron chloride and alkali metal chloride salts, are known.

However, these electrolytes do not provide adequate quality and hardness of precipitation and good centered emissions from the substrate.

The proposed electrolyte is devoid of the indicated disadvantages due to the new combination and ratio of the components included in it.

1:1.The working process is carried out at a temperature of 55-60 °. The current density under stationary conditions, i.e. in the absence of mixing and filtration, is 10 a1 dm. When moving the cathode rods and filtering the electrolyte, the current density can be increased by 30-50%. The ratio of anodic and cathodic surfaces is 1: 1.

The proposed electrolyte makes it possible to obtain thick iron deposits with microhardness of 800 kg / mm, which do not peel off from the surface of the workpiece during bending at an angle of 90 ° and fracture.
