Сортировочный барабан содержит установленную горизонтально с возможностью вращени обечайку 1, выполненную по своей боковой поверхности с перфорированными отверсти ми дл слива очищенной суспензии, расположенными в двух зонах 2 и 3, установленных последовательно. Перфорационные отверсти первой зоны 2, прилегающей к отверстию 4 дл впуска суспензии, расположенному на одном торце барабана , имеют диаметр 7 - 12,5 мм, а перфорационные отверсти второй зоны 35 прилегающей к отверстию 5 дл выпуска отходов сортировани , расположенному на другом торце барабана, имеют диаметр 10 - 30,мм. Диаметр перфорационных отверстий первой зо- меньше диаметра отверстий второй зоны, по меньшей мере, на 2,5 мм.Сортировочный барабан содержит . ребра 6, которые подают суспензию вверх и таким образом разрыхл ют отстой , наход щийс на дне барабана.
