A gripping device comprising a frame, levers, some of which are pivotally mounted on the frame and are spherically connected by one arm with drive rods, while the others are made with gears on one arm and gripping elements on the other, and at least one gear sector located in meshing with gears of the levers, characterized in that, in order to expand the range of sizes of the captured loads, the gear sector is rigidly mounted on the frame, and the second levers are pivotally mounted on the free shoulders of the first levers.
