Description
BASIC Auth. St. No. 105815 describes the production of tar oil, which is equivalent in its properties to birch tar, from light floating resinous oils obtained by dry distillation and gasification of wood. For this purpose, said light oils or their fraction, obtained by fire distillation and boiling in the range of 117-340 °, are washed with water or an aqueous alkali solution.
However, using this method, it was not possible to obtain a replacement of birch bark from light floating oils, which form during the pyrolysis of wood in vertical, continuously operating retorts of the circulating type, which is explained by the specific fractional and chemical composition of light oils. As a result of the mild process of thermal decomposition of wood, retorts in light oils contain 60-80Vo of neutral paraffinic compounds and fatty acids with a boiling point of 260-340 °, of which part of the former can crystallize at a temperature below 30 °; Phenols in these oils contain little. Therefore, when treating oils with water, it is not possible to wash the products of an acidic nature, and when treating with a solution of alkali, it turns out to be curdled with a paste-like mass. Fractioning is also impractical because the oils are not exempt from crystalline products.
A method is proposed for producing tar - a substitute for birch bark tar from light floating oils obtained during the pyrolysis of wood in vertical, continuously operating retorts of the circulating type, by washing the determined fraction with water.
е. не содержащую кристаллических парафинистых соединений .A feature of this method is that under certain conditions, washing is subjected to a liquid, at a temperature of the order of 20. an oil fraction, i.e. not containing crystalline paraffinic compounds.
The proposed method is carried out as follows. The initial light resin oil is filtered at a temperature of about 20, after which the filtrate is heated with live steam to 90-100 ° and washed 3-4 times with two times the amount of water of the same temperature while passing the steam. The product obtained as a result of this treatment meets the requirements for birch tar, with the exception of the acidity coefficient, which is several units above the norm, which is not essential when using the product for fattening of skin and veterinary purposes.
The subject of the invention 1. The method of obtaining a tar - a substitute for birch bark on the author. St.. No. 105815 from light floatable resin oils obtained during wood pyrolysis in vertical, continuously operating retorts of circulation type, characterized in that the water is subjected to a liquid, at a temperature of about 20 °, a fraction of the starting resin oil.
2. Acceptance of the method according to claim 1, characterized in that the initial light resin oil is filtered at a temperature of about 20 °, after which the filtrate is heated with live steam to 90-100 and washed with water of the specified temperature while passing the steam.
