Abstract
A new pharmaceutical and cosmetic preparation contains as active ingredients 0.01-2 wt. % glycerol trinitrate and 0.1-10 wt. % of at least one polyunsaturated fatty acid selected from gamma-linolenic acid, linoleic acid or a physiologically active salt or derivative thereof, in a physiologically acceptable carrier. The prepn. is used for treatment of psoriasis, seborrhoea and cosmetic conditions. The active component have the ability to react with oxygen free radicals. (Provisional Basic previously advised in week 9007).
