Abstract

The ventilator comprises a duct divided into two channels 106, 108 each having a pivotally mounted valve 114, 116 which is opened by the flow of air. Air flowing through the intake channel 106 opens the valve 114 which is provided with an adjustable counterweight assembly 120. The air then passes through a filter and heat exchanger to an enclosure. During a following cycle of operation, the flow of stale air from the enclosure opens the valve 116 and the air is exhausted to the outside. The construction of the ventilator prevents mixing of the stale and fresh air. <IMAGE>
