Abstract
The invention relates to a device for calibrating a measuring apparatus for the determination of oil traces in water, the measuring apparatus being composed of a cuvette (1), a metering part (3) connected to the cuvette via a pipe (9) and having a metering point (7) equipped with bore holes (4, 5, 6) and two pipes (10; 11, 11', 11") feeding sample water (14) and pure water (16) to this metering point, and a metering pump (8) arranged in the pure-water pipe (11, 11', 11").
<??>According to the invention, upstream of the metering pump (8), there opens a pipe (20) of a vessel (22), containing a calibration solution (21), via a three-way cock (23) into the pure-water pipe (11'), and to calibrate the measuring apparatus, via the pure-water pipe (11', 11"), instead of the pure water (16), the calibration solution (21) is metered into the metering point (7) and, via the sample-water pipe (10), instead of the oil-containing sample water (14), oil-free sample water is fed to the metering point (7).
