Abstract
A device for measuring the concentration of particles in a liquid fed through a pipe (2) comprises a sensor at a point where the pipe is constructed with a measuring region having a change in cross-section so that the pipe wall is kept free of deposits. Probes (8, 9) are inserted in the pipe wall (6, 7) so that the measuring faces of the probes are in contact with the liquid and form a part of the pipe wall. The measuring device is temperature-compensated by means of a reference device (13, 14) which interacts electrically and mechanically with the measuring probes. <IMAGE>
