Abstract
Relative soluble organic content of reference water sample and test water sample from, say, a stream is quickly and continuously measured by means using a signal of difference between two signals indicating the differences in refractive index and electrical conductivity of the samples respectively. The relative turbidity of the two samples may also be measured and allowed for.
