Abstract

In the production of silicate gas-concrete, a process is characterised in that initially all the dry components are ground together or one after the other to give a homogeneous dry mixture. In this case, the preceding drying of the sand, which is in most cases moist from the ground or the pit, is particularly energy-intensive and requires large separate drying installations. The invention demonstrates a process in which soil-moist sand undergoes, in the grinding process, a drying by mixture components of the dry matter of the silicate gas-concrete, which components belong according to the formulation to the starting material for gas-concrete mixing but, as a result of the process demonstrated according to the invention, absorb the moisture of the sand without a quantitative increase and without a loss of efficiency.
