Abstract
The mfr of products from ferromagnetic material powder, by mixing the powder to form a granulometrically homogeneous mixt., compacting the mixt by vibration in a mould, heating the mould to the sintering temp., hermetically sealing the mould and compressing it, is improved by subjecting the mixt before putting it in the mould, to magnetisation, pref by placing it in a permanent magnetic field of intensity 1-20 kA/m for 0.1-0.5 mins. Segregation of the powder fractions before and during mould filling and compaction is avoided.
