Abstract

A control gear and control device for motor-powered gates or similar that are equipped with a pinch guard (3) along the front edge. The pinch guard is of the type including a continuous contact device through which a quiescent current flows. Sensor devices (7) are placed and are arranged so that they emit a control signal when there is a change or loss of quiescent current during the closing of the gate as a result of external influence caused by a short-circuit of interruption in the contact device. This signal is conveyed to a cut out relay (R3) intended to initiate the opening motion of the gate. The device contains two activation devices (20, 21) for normal opening and closing of the gate (1, 2). The latter instantly bring about a short-circuiting of each interruption in the electric circuit (10) via the said contact device (3). The control signal emitted by the monitoring device (7) in this connection is supplied via switchgear devices (R4, 15) to the said device in order to initialize a relay/relays (R3, R5) to start the opening/closing motion, depending on which activation device (20, 21) was affected. In this way, each movement of the gate (1, 2) provides a control of each function of the control gear and control device and the control device connected to this (3).<IMAGE>
