Abstract
The invention relates to forming metals. The rolling mill for manufacturing endless spirals contains a rolling frame (2) which has conical working rollers (6, 7) which are fastened on shafts (8, 9) which are fastened in a flying manner on a rolling stand (10), arranged at an angle to one another and connected to a rotary drive and an arrangement (12) for angular displacement of the shaft axes in relation to one another. Also provided is a guiding and bending arrangement (3) for the spiral running out from the rolling frame. The rolling mill additionally contains according to the invention tubular bodies (14), in which the shafts (8, 9) of the working rollers (6, 7) are accommodated and which are fastened on the rolling stand (10) by means of pins (15), and baseplates (16) for mounting the rotary drive of the working roller, each of which is fastened on the respective tubular body (14) and is connected to the arrangement for angular displacement of the axes of the working rollers (6, 7) in relation to one another, as well as a winding device (15) which is arranged behind the spiral guiding and bending arrangement. The winding device (15) contains a winding spindle (24) which is arranged displaceably in the axial direction, made of individual segments (25) and mechanically connected to the rotary drive, the arrangement for increasing the spiral winding density and the arrangement for removing the spiral from the winding spindle. The invention can be used particularly advantageously for manufacturing spirals for friction discs. <IMAGE>
