Abstract

Electrically conductive magnetic toner is supplied by brush 10 to recording member 5, magnet 9 ensures that the toner forms a conductive bridge between an array of stylus electrodes 1 and the recording member 5 toner is supplied by means 10. Recording electrical potential signals selectively applied to the first electrodes 1 relative to the recording member causes toner to be deposited on the recording member as image toner. A toner removal brush 23 is provided for removing excess accumulated toner from said recording gap. <IMAGE>
