Abstract
1408490 Diazotype materials HOECHST AG 22 Nov 1973 [25 Oct 1973] 54156/73 Addition to 1408245 Heading G2C [Also in Division C2] A one-component diazotype material comprises a support and a light-sensitive layer containing a light-sensitive diazonium compound of the formula where one of R 1 ' and R 2 ' is an unsubstituted or substituted cycloalkyl group and the other is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aralkyl or cycloalkyl group, Y is halogen or CF 3 and X is an anion. The support may be coated with a polyvinyl acetate/starch layer or a cellulose ester layer which is hydrolysed before coating or impregnated with the diazotype layer which may include gelatine or gum arabic as binder.
