Abstract

A packaging container in the form of a parallelepiped of the type that is provided with a sealing tab that extends beyond both the upper end wall of the packaging container and beyond triangular, double-walled flaps that make contact with the end wall. The sealing tab demonstrates a narrow sealing zone at the outer edge of the tab together with a perforation that can be torn at the base of the tab, whereby the perforation extends from the tip of one of the triangular flaps to a point located at the end wall of the packaging container. The sealing tab is unsealed in the region between the narrow sealing zone and the perforation, and furthermore an equivalent sealing tab is arranged at the bottom of the packaging container that is significantly more narrow than the sealing tab in which the perforation has been located.
