Abstract

1,062,189. Fish containers or the like; stackable containers. CHR. BJELLAND & CO. A.S. Dec. 16, 1963 [Dec. 24, 1962], No. 49595/63. Headings B8D and B8P. Containers for wet goods, e.g. fish, comprise upwardly diverging side and end walls, the side walls having flanges with longitudinal grooves 2 therein, and liquid outlet channels 5 formed in the base contiguous to the end walls, each channel having a single outlet. The containers are adapted for stacking and nesting. When stacked the outlet channels 5 of one container engage in the grooves 2<SP>1</SP> of a lower container. The side walls are formed with ribs 3 and complementary grooves 4, and stiffening pieces 6. The containers may be made of metal or plastics.
