Цель технического предложения - увеличить температурный интервал и коэффициент вспучивания глиняных гранул при обжиге, избежать слипания сырьевых гранул при сушке и обжиге. Технический результат достигается тем, что в способе изготовления керамзита, путем формования сырьевых гранул из глины или из смеси, содержащей глину, обработки гранул раствором электролита и последующего обжига, в качестве раствора электролита используют раствор силикатов или алюминатов щелочных металлов или раствор едкой щелочи или смесь раствора силикатов или алюминатов щелочных металлов с едкой щелочью при плотности раствора больше 1,05 г/см3. В частном случае реализации предлагаемого способа изготовления керамзита в качестве раствора электролита используют также раствор сульфатов алюминия и/или магния при плотности раствора больше 1,05 г/см3, а сырьевые гранулы последовательно обрабатывают сначала раствором силикатов или алюминатов щелочных металлов или раствором едкой щелочи или смесью раствора силикатов или алюминатов щелочных металлов с едкой щелочью при плотности раствора больше 1,05г/см3, а затем обрабатывают раствором сульфатов алюминия и/или магния при плотности раствора больше 1,05 г/см3.The inventive method relates to the technology of manufacturing porous aggregates for lightweight concrete, mainly to the technology for producing expanded clay.
