Способ относится к инструментальному производству, а именно к изготовлению инструмента для горячего и холодного прессования и штамповки. Для повышения стойкости инструмента для горячего и холодного прессования и штамповки за счет увеличения физико-механических свойств литого материала на жидкий металл, перегретый выше линии ликвидус на 50 - 120°К, накладывается давление 100 - 200 МПа, причем скорость движения пресс-плунжера во время наложения давления на жидкий металл выше скорости кристаллизации металла от стенок формы. Отливка после кристаллизации металла отжигается в соляной ванне при t = 1100 - 1150°С в течение 0,5 - 3 ч.
