The beekeeper’s hive extension belongs to the field of agriculture, in particular to beekeeping, and can be used effectively for the apiary roaming

Known extension (store) for the hive [1], consisting of the front and side walls. The walls are connected to each other, forming a rectangular box. This box has no bottom and lid. The hive assembly with extension is covered. The body ceilings are located in the upper part of the extension and separate the combined cavity of the extension and the hive from the lid cavity. An extension is used for breeding bees, by expanding the nest of the bee family or for honey collection.

This extension is also used to divide the family into two, and with a strong family or more. In all cases, frames are placed in the extension, the surface of which is filled by bees.

Also known extension for beehives [2], which has a similar design and the same purpose as previously indicated.

All of these extensions are used only for bee colonies and it is impossible to use them to create comfort for the beekeeper when wandering, in particular when sleeping, because of the small internal volume of the extension.

To solve this problem, the task was to create a beehive extension for the beekeeper by increasing the internal cavity of the known extension, placing it on several hives set one to one.

To accomplish this task, a beehive extension for the beekeeper is proposed, consisting of the front, rear and

side walls fastened in the form of a rectangular box with an internal cavity, and a cover.

The proposed technical solution differs from the known ones in that the box is located on one-to-one hive hulls and is equipped with a lid, the length of which corresponds to the length of the hive, in addition, the inner cavity is bounded from the bottom by the ceiling of the hulls and has a length exceeding the growth of the beekeeper, and its width depends from the outer dimensions of the enclosures made up in length or width.

In addition, the cover can be attached to the rear or front wall on the curtains (hinges) and the cover can be mounted on the walls using rollers and rails with the ability to move relative to the walls. The cover can be made with one slope or with two slopes, while at least one slope, in its upper part, is equipped with curtains. The walls can be installed with the ability to move, in addition, a window can be made in the wall.

These distinctive features have a number of positive qualities that affect the technical result, namely:

- the box is located on one-to-one hive hulls. This allows you to increase the internal cavity of the box;

- the box is equipped with a lid, the length of which corresponds to its length.

Since the lid is made over the entire length of the box, it prevents the penetration of rainfall in inclement weather and also retains the heat generated by the bees;

- the inner cavity below is limited by the ceilings of the buildings. Thus, the ceilings of the cases limit the internal cavity of the box, are the bottom of the box and serve as a flooring on which the beekeeper can sit or lie down. In addition, usually there are stranglers in the ceilings through which into the internal cavity of the box

warm air passes from the bees, enriched with the aroma of bee products;

- the internal cavity of the box has a length exceeding the growth of the beekeeper, and its width depends on the external dimensions of the buildings, made up in length or width. The length of the hive bodies is approximately 750 ÷ 800 mm, and the width is about 600 mm. A few hives made up one to one in length or width is enough to accommodate the beekeeper for the night. Thus, the beekeeper can lie down and fully straighten over the entire length of the box;

- the cover is attached to the back or front wall on the curtains (hinges). Hinged lid increases serviceability;

- the cover is mounted on the walls using rollers and rails with the ability to move relative to the walls. This design greatly improves the usability of the extension;

- the cover is made with one slope. This allows you to save material and time to manufacture the cover;

- the cover is made with two slopes. This design inside the extension gives the resting beekeeper the impression of increased space;

- at least one of the slopes, in its upper part, is equipped with curtains. This increases the usability and comfort, as well as provides a constant flow of fresh air;

- the machines are installed with the possibility of movement. This allows the beekeeper to lie down and leave the extension, pushing back the wall, without lifting or sliding the lid;

- a window is made in the wall. The presence of a window significantly increases comfort, improves ergonomics, allows the beekeeper to observe natural phenomena and visually determine the time of day.

The distinguishing features listed above are necessary and sufficient to solve the task. All the distinguishing features are in a causal relationship with the result and allow the manufacture and practical use of a hive extension for the beekeeper. In addition, the signs are aimed at improving the comfort of the beekeeper and facilitating the maintenance of the extension.

The hive extension for the beekeeper consists of front 1, rear 2, two side walls 3, 4 and cover 5, with one slope 6 or cover 7 with two slopes 8, 9. The bee heat coming from below through the stuffing boxes heats the extension cavity well. For convenience, the beekeeper, located in the extension, can regulate the flow of fresh air and temperature by raising and lowering the cover 5 or 7, moving the wall 1 or raising and lowering the slopes 8, 9, and also opening or closing the window 13. The window also serves for visual observation beyond the environment. A window is especially necessary for people who react negatively to a confined space.

Given that there are stranglers in the ceilings, the lion's share of the air from the bees enters the extension cavity. The person on the extension, due to the bee ventilation of the hive, receives natural inhalation from propolis, freshly brought nectar, honey and pollen. In addition, he receives heat generated and maintained by the bee family, the temperature in which is approximately equal to the temperature of the human body. Under the monotonous buzzing of bees, receiving natural inhalation and warmed by heat, a person quickly relaxes and falls asleep.

Being on a nomad, the beekeeper can use the extension instead of the house not only in the summer, but also in the spring and autumn, when the night temperature drops slightly below zero.

The inventive beehive extension for the beekeeper is easy to manufacture. For its manufacture does not require special machines and tools. It is manufactured on standard woodworking machines.

Material for the manufacture of extensions - any, but better softwood, such as linden, aspen, pine, spruce, fir, cedar, etc.

The costs of making a beehive extension for the beekeeper, compared with the beekeeping house, are several times less.

The inventive extension for the beekeeper is convenient to use, necessary for wandering, good for health and has a future in the development of green tourism.
