Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for pre-sowing treatment of seeds with chemicals that affect the vital processes of plants, and can be used in agriculture, in particular, as a stimulator for the formation of green pigments.
There is a known method of pre-sowing seed treatment [Vegetable grower's handbook. Directory. Under. ed. E.S. Karataeva. L., "Agropromizdat", 1989, p. 33, analogue], which includes the process of treating seeds with an aqueous solution of succinic acid.
The disadvantage of this known method is the low content of total chlorophyll in plants developed from treated seeds.
Increasing environmental pollution makes it urgent to search for environmentally friendly ways to increase the yield and nutritional value of cultivated plants.
A known method of pre-sowing seed treatment (RF Patent No. 2399183, prototype) consists of soaking the seeds in an aqueous solution of iminodisuccinic acid (IDAS) in the form of an aqueous solution with a concentration of 1.5·10 -4 M.
е.) относится к экологически безопасным биологически активным комплексонам, производным янтарной кислоты (Loginova E. S., Nikol'skii V. M., Tolkacheva L. N., Lukґyanova N. I. Synthesis and some properties of complexones, succinic acid derivatives // Russian Chemical Bulletin, 2016, Vol. 65, No. 9, P. 2206-2210, DOI: 10.1007/S11172-016-1569-7). (Smirnova T. I., Khizhnyak S.D., Nikolskiy V. M. et all. Degradation of complexes, derivatives of amber acid, under the action of UV radiation // Russian Journal of Applied Chemistry, 2017, Vol. 90, No. 4, P. 406-411, DOI: 10.1134/S1070427217040024). IDYAK (Gross formula C 8 H 11 NO 8. Molecular weight 249 cu) refers to environmentally friendly biologically active complexones, derivatives of succinic acid (Loginova ES, Nikol'skii VM, Tolkacheva LN, Lukґyanova NI Synthesis and some properties of complexones , succinic acid derivatives // Russian Chemical Bulletin, 2016, Vol. 65, No. 9, P. 2206-2210, DOI: 10.1007/S11172-016-1569-7). This is explained by the fact that under natural environmental conditions, complexons, derivatives of succinic acid, do not pollute nature, because prone to destruction of plants or simply in the light (Smirnova TI, Khizhnyak SD, Nikolskiy VM et all. Degradation of complexes, derivatives of amber acid, under the action of UV radiation // Russian Journal of Applied Chemistry, 2017, Vol. 90, No. 4, pp. 406-411, DOI: 10.1134/S1070427217040024). The higher ability of IDYAK to increase the content of green pigments (chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b) in the above-ground parts of plants compared to succinic acid is explained by the presence of 5.62% nitrogen in IDYAK. Nitrogen is one of the main elements of mineral nutrition [V. P. Murygin, V. A. Popov, S. L. Eliseev The influence of the timing and dose of nitrogen fertilizing on the yield of winter crops // Perm Agrarian Bulletin, No. 3 (15), 2016, pp. 53-59]. This confirms the opinion of the founder of domestic agrochemistry D.N. Pryanishnikov, who pointed out that the degree of nitrogen supply to agricultural crops is the main condition that determines the average yield in different eras [Pryanishnikov D.N. Nitrogen in plant life and in agriculture of the USSR. M.: Publishing House of the USSR Academy of Sciences, 1945. 197 p.]. This thesis continues to remain relevant today, especially in the zone of soddy-podzolic soils poor in organic matter, where nitrogen was, is and will be the most important element of plant nutrition. All metabolic processes occurring in the plant’s body, from the synthesis of chlorophyll to the absorption of vitamins, are activated thanks to nitrogen. As a result of treating seeds with a stimulant, during germination the emerging root system grows, which helps the plant absorb more nutrients.
Недостаток способа – прототипа заключается в малом, по сравнению с заявляемым способом стимулирующем эффекте, что определяется меньшим содержанием азота в ИДЯК, до 6% (14:249х100=5,62%).The disadvantage of the prototype method is that it has a small stimulating effect compared to the claimed method, which is determined by the lower nitrogen content in IDAC, up to 6% (14:249x100=5.62%).
Effect of Optical Isomerism on the Physicochemical Characteristics // Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2017, Vol. 11, No. 4, P. 708-713, DOI: 10.1134/S1990793117040200], In the claimed method, it is proposed to use, instead of IDYAK, another complexone, a derivative of succinic acid, N-(carboxymethyl) aspartic acid (CMAA, Gross formula C 6 H 9 NO 6. Molecular weight 191 c.u.), as a biologically active substance that increases the content of green pigments in plants by pre-sowing seed treatment. With almost the same basicity of the amine nitrogen of both complexons (10.12 for IDYAK and 9.68 for KMAK), which determines the identity of the complexing properties of the complexons (Table 1) [Loginova ES, Nikol'skii VM Biodegradable Chelating Agents. Effect of Optical Isomerism on the Physicochemical Characteristics // Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2017, Vol. 11, No. 4, P. 708-713, DOI: 10.1134/S1990793117040200], the nitrogen content of KMAK is more than 7% (14:191x100=7.33%), which is 1.71% higher than that of IDYAK.
The method is carried out as follows.
Seed samples weighing ≈ 5 g are prepared on a technochemical balance, transferred to a beaker, a 50 ml volume of 0.2 mM KMAK solution measured using a measuring cylinder is added and left at room temperature 22°C (±1°C) for 24 hours. After this, the solution is drained (decanted), the seeds are lightly dried with filter paper and sown in the ground.
Samples of seeds of garden spinach (Spinacea oleraced), common beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) and spring wheat (Triticum aestivum) were processed using the stated method. The seeds were sown on plots of the experimental field of the Tver State Agricultural Academy. The experiment was carried out in duplicate.
Samples of spinach leaves for analysis of the content of green pigments were taken 30 days after sowing, beans - at the stage of mass flowering, wheat - at the stage of heading.
2.The determination of pigments was carried out from acetone extracts using standard methods // Workshop on plant physiology - M., Agropromizdat., 1990, p. 87 //. The results of analyzes for the content of green pigments are given in Table. 2.
2.The method proposed by the applicants for pre-sowing treatment of seeds with a KMAK solution in the same quantity as the IDYAK prototype (187 mg/kg of seeds), with almost the same labor intensity, has a greater impact on the content of green pigments in plants. Table. 2.
As evidenced by the results of the experiment, pre-sowing treatment of seeds with CMAC provided an increased content of chlorophyll in plants and turned out to be more effective in comparison with the prototype method for all three crops, due to the higher percentage of available ammonium nitrogen in the composition of CMAC (7.33%), more degree of consumption by legume plants.
