SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engobe compositions which can be used in making ceramic brick. The engobe contains, wt %: clay 81.0-85.0; ground scrap sheet glass 5.0-7.0; chamotte 7.0-10.0; sulphite-yeast wash 2.0-3.0. Articles are fired at temperature of 950-1050°C. The engobe has frost resistance of not less than 50 cycles.

EFFECT: high frost resistance of the engobe.

Компоненты дозируют в требуемых количествах.
