The engobe has heat resistance of not less than 150°C. Articles with the engobe are fired at 1000-1150°C.

Description

The invention relates to compositions of engobes that can be used in the manufacture of household ceramics.

An engobe is known, containing, wt.%: White-burning clay (suspension of Chasov-Yarsky clay) 70.0-90.0; the battle of window glass 10.0-30.0. By introducing 5 wt.% Chromium oxide, 20 wt.% Hematite or other coloring additives into an analog, colored compositions can be obtained.

The objective of the invention is to increase the heat resistance of engobe.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that the engobe, which includes white-burning clay, the battle of window sheet glass and a coloring additive, additionally contains bone ash and alumina in the following ratio of components, wt.%: White-burning clay 67.0-77.0; battle window glass 6.0-8.0; coloring additive 1.0-10.0; bone ash 10.0-16.0; alumina 2.0-4.0.
