Abstract

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns food industry, in particular preventive and dietary food. Biologically active food additive contains active substance, citric acid, ascorbic acid, preserving agent, sweetener and purified water. Thus active substance is presented with concentrated aqueous-ethanolic extract of vegetative complex, at the following component ratio wt %: concentrated aqueous-ethanolic extract of vegetative complex - 3.35-3.75, ascorbic acid - 0.10-0.40, citric acid - 0.10-0.50, preserving agent - 0.06-0.10, sweetener - 0.01-0.03 and purified water - the rest. And concentrated aqueous-ethanolic extract of vegetative complex is made at 1 weight fraction of vegetative complex to 5 weight fractions of aqueous-ethanolic solution (70% of ethyl alcohol). Vegetative complex is presented with mixture of following components in wt fraction: cowberries leaves - 2, hop cones - 2, sedge cane rootstock - 1.5, black chokeberry fruits - 1.5, touch-and-heal herb - 1.5, knotgrass herb (doorweed) - 1, garden sage leaves - 1.

EFFECT: improvement of urinogenital functional condition, reduction of kidneys and bladder inflammatory processes, as well as for prevention of prostatitis and prostate adenoma.

Description

The invention relates to the food industry, in particular to preventive and dietary nutrition, and for the creation of a composition based on plants, used as a biologically active food supplement.

Dietary supplements are substances with high activity and specificity. They are necessary for the normal life of the body, as they contribute to improving the well-being of a person, increase his resistance to adverse environmental conditions. They are required in small quantities compared to essential nutrients. Widely used in the treatment of various diseases.

Known use in compositions based on plant materials of leaves of lingonberry, medicinal marshmallow, bird grass, juniper fruits, elecampane roots and calamus rhizomes (RF application 2002135667).

The indicated source of information describes the preparations, the qualitative and quantitative composition of which is determined depending on the specific pathology and is selected individually for each patient. Moreover, not all are included in each specific composition, but only a part of the above ingredients, i.e. drugs have a narrow focus.

In addition, the disadvantage of the known means, like most known herbal remedies, is the use in their composition of decoctions or infusions from the collections of medicinal herbs. Not all biologically active substances found in medicinal herbs turn into infusions and decoctions.

The technical result consists in a general strengthening effect on a man’s body, improvement of the functional state of the genitourinary system, prevention of prostatitis and prostate adenoma.

The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in a biologically active additive containing an active substance, citric acid, ascorbic acid, a preservative, a sweetener and purified water, a concentrated aqueous-alcoholic extract of the plant complex is used as the active substance in the following ratio of components, wt.% :

concentrated aqueous-alcoholic extract of the plant complex - 3.35-3.75,

ascorbic acid - 0.10-0.40,

citric acid - 0.10-0.50,

preservative - 0.06-0.10,

sweetener - 0.01-0.03,

purified water - the rest,

while the concentrated aqueous-alcoholic extract of the plant complex is prepared at the rate of 1 wt.h. plant complex for 5 parts by weight water-alcohol solution (70% ethyl alcohol), and as a plant complex, use a mixture of common lingonberry leaves, hop cones, common rhizomes, chokeberry fruit, perforated St. John's wort or nettle, bird highlander grass (knotweed), medicinal sage leaves, taken in the following quantities (parts by weight):

leaves of lingonberry vulgaris - 2,

hop cones - 2,

rhizomes of common calamus - 1.5,

fruits of chokeberry aronia - 1.5,

Hypericum perforatum or nettle grass - 1,

grass of the mountaineer bird (knotweed) - 1,

sage leaves - 1.

The basis of the drug is composed of components with a multifaceted effect:

- lingonberry leaves (Vaccinium vitis idaea L.) have a pronounced diuretic effect, stimulate urination and excretion of toxic elements, have an antiseptic and pronounced general strengthening effect, have a beneficial effect on the immune system,

- rhizomes of common calamus (Acorus calamus L.) have a bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effect, have a tonic effect.

- grass of the mountaineer bird (knotweed) (Polygonum aviculare L.) has an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect; has a diuretic effect, prevents the formation and promotes the passage of stones, increases the excretion of sodium and chlorine from the body, reduces the crystallization of mineral salts in the urinary tract; It has a hemostatic effect due to the high content of vitamin K; binds toxic substances (including stone-forming salts) and removes them from the body; normalizes the processes of absorption in the intestine; due to its high content of vitamin C it has a general tonic effect, improves immunity,

- the fruits of the chokeberry aronia support the normal permeability and elasticity of the walls of blood vessels, have an antiatherosclerotic effect, contribute to lowering and stabilizing blood pressure,

- hop cones have a calming effect on the central nervous system in connection with the presence of lupulin in them; flavonoids, hormones and vitamins contained in the plant cause anti-inflammatory, antiulcer, capillary-strengthening, analgesic properties of the extract from hop cones; there is evidence of estrogenic activity of hop cones,

- St. John's wort herb gives the composition antispasmodic, vasodilator, blood circulation stimulating and diuresis properties. The presence of St. John's wort herb in the composition helps to strengthen capillaries, destroy microbes, improve the regeneration of damaged tissues,

- sage leaves enhance the soothing, astringent, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect of the composition,

- nettle grass has hemostatic and diuretic properties, is used as a multivitamin and wound healing agent, restores hemoglobin and increases the number of red blood cells.

St. John's wort grass can be replaced by nettle leaves, since both herbs have a diuretic, wound healing (regenerating) effect and have an effect on blood formation processes.

Using a composition of these components, selected in a certain ratio, allows you to most effectively affect the male body, eliminating undesirable side effects.

A change in the claimed ratio significantly reduces the effectiveness of the drug.

The combined effect of the plant components of the phytocomposition improves the function of the urinary system: it has an antiseptic, diuretic effect, helps to reduce inflammatory processes in the kidneys and bladder, the phenomena of stagnation of urine, stone formation, prevents the development of prostatitis and prostate adenoma in men. Phytocomposition increases the detoxification capabilities of the body, has a general strengthening effect.

The drug passed clinical trials at the Federal State Institution “Russian Scientific Center for Restorative Medicine and Balneology of the Russian Healthcare”.

The observation results indicate good tolerance and clinical efficacy of the drug.

In the study of the claimed funds involved 17 patients with inflammatory diseases of the urinary system aged 18 to 64 years. The average disease duration was 6 years. The test drug was prescribed 15 drops 3 times a day for 4 weeks. After the course of taking the drug, a positive dynamics of the clinical manifestations of the disease was noted. In 67% of patients disappeared, and in 33% complaints of pain in the lumbar region decreased. The general well-being of patients improved, weakness and headaches were not noted 100%. Laboratory studies have revealed a decrease in ESR in 78% more than twice. 55.6% of patients showed a significant decrease in protein in the urine. Microscopic examination of urine sediment showed the absence of red blood cells in 83%, epithelium in all patients. The positive dynamics of the clinical manifestations of the disease indicates the anti-inflammatory effect of the drug in chronic diseases of the urinary tract, the dynamics of creatinine and urea indicates a positive effect of the drug on kidney function.

The drug, as an additional source of flavonols, arbutin and hydroquinone for men, can be recommended as a natural remedy that has a mild tonic effect, has a positive effect on sexual activity and facilitates urination with prostatitis or prostate adenoma.
