Abstract
Description
The proposed method relates to a technology for producing complex concentrated fertilizers by the method of nitric acid processing of phosphorites and may find application in the production of granular nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium (NPK) fertilizers.
167].A known method of producing nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers with granulation of the finished product in a prilling tower, in which phosphoric acid (47-50% P 2 O 5 ) is mixed with nitric acid (47-56% HNO 3 ), the mixture is neutralized with ammonia, evaporated to obtaining melt, mixed with a potassium-containing component and granulated by spraying in a tower [V.F. Karmyshov. Chemical processing of phosphorites. M.: Chemistry, 1983, p. 167].
The disadvantage of this method is the relatively high caking of the product.
255-263]. The closest to the proposed method in terms of technical nature and the achieved result is a method for producing complex fertilizer by decomposing phosphate raw materials with nitric acid, followed by separation of calcium nitrate from a nitric acid extract, ammonization of a nitric acid extract, evaporation, mixing of the obtained melt with potassium salts, granulation. [V.V. Babkin, A.A. Brodsky. Phosphate fertilizers in Russia. M .: Margus, 1995, p. 255-263].
The disadvantage of this method is the relatively high caking of the resulting product.
The aim of the proposed method is to reduce the caking of NPK fertilizers and increase the strength of the granules.
This goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method of producing complex fertilizer by nitric acid decomposition of phosphate raw materials, the separation of calcium nitrate from a nitric acid extract, ammonization of a nitric acid extract, evaporation, mixing of the melt with potassium salts, granulation, granulation of the melt is carried out in the presence of ocher or iron minium.
The difference of the proposed method is the granulation of melt in the presence of ocher or iron minium.
In this case, ocher or iron minium is introduced into potassium salts, retur or melt in an amount of 0.2-2.0% in terms of the finished product.
10-20%. These differences can reduce the caking of granular NPK fertilizers by 1.5-3 times and increase the strength of the granules by 10-20%.
Example 1. Industrial testing of the proposed method was carried out on the current production of NPK fertilizers (azofoski) according to the following scheme.
Apatite is decomposed with 58% nitric acid at a temperature of 54-57 o C. the Consumption of 100% nitric acid is 1.4 t / t of apatite. The decomposition solution is directed to the release of calcium nitrate by polythermal crystallization in batch crystallizers. Cooling the solution to a temperature of -5 o With lead for 6 hours. The precipitated precipitate of calcium nitrate tetrahydrate is separated by filtration on a drum vacuum filter, washed with chilled nitric acid and water, the washing solution is returned to the decomposition of apatite, and the precipitate of calcium nitrate is melted and sent to the conversion with ammonium carbonate solution to obtain calcium carbonate (waste) and ammonium nitrate solution .
After separation of calcium nitrate (filtrate), the nitric-phosphoric acid solution is ammoniated with gaseous ammonia to a pH of 5.6-6.0, while the ammonium nitrate solution is dosed from the conversion stage to provide the necessary ratio N: P 2 O 5 = 1.0- 1.1: 1 or 2.0-2.1: 1 in a neutralized solution. Next, the neutralized solution is sent to the evaporation to melt with a moisture content of 0.7-0.8%. One stripped off the melt is sent to the mixer, which serves potassium salts and retur. Ocher or iron minium served in the melt or pre-mixed with potassium salts or retur. NPK-melt is fed from the mixer to a centrifugal granulator and granulated by spraying into the free volume. The granules are cooled to a temperature of 35-40 o With and get the finished product - azofoska.
As an additive, pigments are used - ocher (mass fraction of iron oxide -18.2%, the residue after wet sieving on a sieve with a mesh of 0.063 mm - 0.62%) and iron minium (mass fraction of iron oxide - 95.7%, the remainder after wet sieving on a sieve with a mesh of 0.063 mm - 0.87%). The results are shown in the table.
10-20%. Compared with the prototype method, the proposed method can reduce the caking of the azofoska by 1.5-3 times and increase the strength of the granules by 10-20%.
A positive effect on reducing the caking of the azofosk is already apparent at an additive consumption of 0.2%. An increase in the dosage of the additive over 2% is impractical because it does not lead to a further decrease in caking. A decrease in caking was noted both when dosing the additive in the melt, and when pre-mixing the additive with potassium salts or retur.
