The method of moving a snowmobile, which consists in ensuring the interaction of the mover elements with the supporting surface, characterized in that the mover is made in the form of at least three skis, one central, which is located mainly in the center of the longitudinal axis of the snowmobile frame, and two side, each of which is placed on one side of the snowmobile frame, while all of the mentioned skis are installed with the possibility of plane-parallel movement in the vertical plane on two U-shaped brackets, which are installed they are mounted on the frame of the snowmobile, while in the central part of the vertical jumpers of each bracket, supports are made in the form of shafts for installation in bearings that are placed on the frame, while the diametrically located ends of the said brackets meet the corresponding places for skiing, and the central ski is mounted on the central horizontal bridge of said bracket, and side skis - on horizontal stops, which are performed mainly in the form of cantilever axes, which are installed in vertical feathers the tabs of said brackets in such a way that the distance from the axis of the upper bridge to the axis of rotation of the supports corresponds to the distance from the axis of rotation of the horizontal stops to the axis of rotation of the supports, while chain sprockets are placed on the shafts of the brackets, which are interconnected by a chain, and the gear ratio of said transmission chosen equal to unity, while the shaft of rotation of one of the brackets is connected to the drive sprocket of the chain drive, while when driving, the said U-shaped brackets are rotated The yachts are preferably by means of an engine and a chain drive, and provide sequential sequential interaction of the running surface of the central ski and the side skis with the supporting surface for moving the snowmobile covered with snow by introducing the said skis into the snow mainly parallel to the supporting surface, further axial movement of these skis in the snow relative to the snowmobile and the removal of skis from the snow, while the snowmobile is driven by coasting by removing the central and side skis from contact with the support surface.
