Abstract

Pronalazak se odnosi na postupak za proizvodnju dinitrotoluola, putem dvostepenog nitrovanja toluola, u kojem a) u prvom stupnju, toluol reaguje sa kiselinom za nitrovanje, pod adijabatskim uslovima, pri čemu toluol proreaguje najmanje do 90%, i pri čemu maksimalno 70% unetog toluola reaguje do dinitrotoluola, pa se zatim razdvajaju, organska faza koja sadrži mononitrotoluol, i vodena, kiselinska faza koja sadrži sumpornu kiselinu, vodena, kiselinska faza koja sadrži sumpornu kiselinu se koncentriše, putem ekspanzionog uparavanja, a pritom dobijena sumporna kisleina, sa povećanom koncentracijom (dokoncentro-vana), vraća se u reakciju, u provom stupnju, i/ili reakciju u drugom stupnju, i/ili na dopunsko koncentrovanje u drugom stupnju, i b) u drugom stupnju, organska faza koja sadrži mononitrotouluol iz prvog stupnja, pod izotermnim uslovima potpuno reaguje sa kiselinom za nitrovanje, zatim se razdvajaju, organska faza i vodena, kiselinska faza, koja sadrži sumpornu kiselinu, pa se vodena, kiselinska faza koja sadrži sumpornu kiselinu koncentriše uparavanjem u vakuumu, a sumporna kiselina sa povećanom koncentracijom (dokoncentrovana), koja pritom nastaje, vraća se u reakciju u provom stupnju i/ili u drugom stupnju.
