Inventia se fata se refera la un procedeu de purificare a acidului adenozintrifosforic, utilizat în scopuri farmaceutice, prin tratarea acestora cu o solutie continând la 1000 parti apa distilata, 250 parti NaCl, 10 parti fosfat de sodiu si 0,01 parti amoniac, partile fiind exprimate în greutate, dupa care solutia se aduce la pH=9 si apoi se amesteca cu un volum egal de alcool etilic, dupa filtrare adauzgându-se un volum de apa distilata egal cu volumul de solutie obtinuta de la filtrare, se aduce la pH=1,2...1,5 cu HCl 18% si acidul adenozintrifoforic rezultat se cristalizeaza cu un volum egal de alcool etilic, tratarea cu solutia de mai sus efectuându-se în eluatul alcalin al ATP-ului adsorbit pe un schimbator anionic slab bazic.
