Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for the purification of adenosine triphosphoric acid used for pharmaceutical purposes by treating it with a solution containing 1000 parts distilled water, 250 parts of NaCl, 10 parts of sodium phosphate and 0.01 parts of ammonia, the parts being by weight, after which the solution is brought to pH = 9 and then mixed with an equal volume of ethyl alcohol, after filtration adding a volume of distilled water equal to the volume of solution obtained from the filtration is brought to pH = 1.2 ... 1.5 with 18% HCl and the resulting adenosine difluoride acid crystallized with an equal volume of ethyl alcohol, treating with the above solution in the alkaline eluate of ATP adsorbed on a weakly basic anion exchanger .
