Inventia se refera la un procedeu de tratament termic a unor piese turnate, cum ar fi cadrele si traversele dansante, destinate borghiurilor pentru vagoane. Procedeul, conform inventiei, consta din detensionare prin încalzire cu o viteza mai mica de 100 degree C/h pâna la o temperatura de 650 plus sau minus 10 degree C, mentinere timp de 3 h, racire cu o viteza de 40...60 degree C/h pâna la 350 degree C, urmata de o racire în aer consta, de asemenea, într-o normalizare, prin încalzire cu o viteza de 100-120 degree C/h pâna la temperatura de 650 plus sau minus 10 degree C, mentinere 1 h, încalzire cu viteza de 180...200 degree C/h pâna la temperatura de 830 plus sau minus 10 degree , mentinere 1h, încalzire pâna la temperatura de 920 plus sau minus 10 degree C cu mentinere izoterma timp de 2 h, urmata de racire cu viteza de 180...240 degree C/h pâna la 450 degree C, care permite obtinerea unei proportii optime a constituentilor metalografici, cuprinsa între 62% ferita, 38% perlita si 24% bainita, 23% persita si 53% ferita si revenire înalta la temperatura de 610 plus sau minus 10 degree C cu o mentinere de 2 h urmata de racire în aer ventilat cu o viteza de 450 degree C/h.
