Description
Tlenek wegla wydzielamy z nasyconego nim roztworu, badz to zapomoca ogrzewania, ' badz obnizenia cisnienia, poczem plyn nadaje sie znowu, po ostudzeniu i doprowadzeniu do odpowiedniego cisnienia, do ponownej absorb- cji tlenku, wegla. Niema przeto potrzeby czesciowego nawet uzupelnienia roztworu.Podnoszenie i obnizanie temperatury roztwo¬ ru, albo'jego cisnienia, mozna równiez stoso¬ wac jednoczesnie.Oczyszczony od tlenku wegla gaz weglo¬ wy mozna przechowywac w ruchomych zbiornikach pod cisnieniem kilku lub kilkuna-stu atmosfer i stosowac go do oswietlenia, np., wagonów kolejowych i t. p. bez zadnych trudnosci. PL PLUnder ordinary conditions, the compounds of iron and carbon with oxygen in no way prevent the use of coal gas for glow lighting. These bodies are in the light gas in at most very small amounts. The gas, however (which was not known so far) becomes unusable, since it has been stored in iron tanks under considerable pressure before use, because under these conditions large amounts of carbonic iron oxide are produced. To eliminate this phenomenon, according to it, According to the present invention, the gas must be cleaned of carbon monoxide prior to its introduction into the tanks. Any of the known methods may be used for this purpose, and most practically the chlorine copper dip. The new method consists in the following process. The carbon gas, partially or completely condensed, enters the suitably built copper-chlorine flake. We release carbon monoxide from the solution saturated with it, either by means of heating or lowering the pressure, then the liquid is ready again, after cooling down and bringing it to the appropriate pressure, to reabsorb the carbon oxide. There is therefore no need to even partially top up the solution. Raising and lowering the temperature of the solution or its pressure can also be used simultaneously. Carbon monoxide purified from carbon monoxide can be stored in movable tanks under the pressure of several or several hundred atmospheres and use it for lighting, for example, railway carriages etc. without any difficulty.
