Description
Process for the production of hydrogenation gas for the splitting of hydrocarbons or coal. The invention relates to a method for producing hy drier gas for the splitting of hydrocarbons and coal, i.e. for the production of one Hydrogen, which should be used for technical purposes where it is not the absolute purity of the hydrogen is important, e.g. B. for the hydrogenation of Hydrocarbons. The present is based on the known methods in which Compressed hydrogen-containing gas (coke oven gas, luminous gas, water gas, etc.) with solvents that have a lower solubility for hydrogen than for Carbon compounds are treated.
It has already been proposed to use hydrogen from compressed gas mixtures with the help of organic solvents, as this is necessary for the synthesis of ammonia was supposed to serve, very pure hydrogen was needed, in particular the disposal was of carbon dioxide aimed at up to two thousand parts. As a suitable solvent Aether, a particularly light one, came into consideration. To reduce the Loss of solvents due to the vapor tension had to be at low temperature to be worked. To reuse the solvent, it had to be depressurized which was also welcome as a source of intense cold.
It is also known to use such solvents in the production of luminous gas to use which combine a high gas-dissolving power with high volatility; In this process, the resulting hydrogen mixture is absorbed with the Burned gases.
According to the present invention, for such technical purposes, like hydrogenation according to the Bergin process, where it is not based on absolute purity of hydrogen matters as a solvent in non-volatile liquids such as petroleum or tar oil. To the solvent after the absorption of the hydrogen added gases, such as methane and ethylene, to be made reusable you do not have to rely on the relaxation of the washing oil, you can also do it by warming it up regenerate again.
If the hydrogen enriched gas is used for hydrogenation, then Hydrogen is partly consumed and gases containing hydrocarbons, such as methane and Ethylene, are included. This gas mixture can then be used again as a hydrogen-containing one Serve source material. As before in the compressed state, it is included again Petroleum, tar oil o. The like. Washed and washed in this way after the addition of the Hydrogenation used amount of hydrogen in the circuit again as hydrogenation gas.
The oils condensing from the circulating hydrogen are at the same time also a solvent within the meaning of the invention, through the methane-containing Hydrogen washed out under pressure, freed from methane for the most part, and thereby is made usable again.
The drawing serves to explain the process. i is a washer equipped with Raschig rings, into which from below through pipe 2 the raw gas, compressed by the pump 3, is introduced while from above through pipe 4 the absorption oil is introduced under sprinkling. The enriched absorption oil leaves the scrubber from below through pipe 5, the opening of which is through a float valve 6 is controlled; it is relaxed in the collection vessel 7, whereby it is the recorded Releases gas components that escape at 8, to then again through pipe 9 and Pump to be fed to the scrubber.
Beispiel. Example. A coal gas with about 50 percent hydrogen content was used at a pressure of about 100 atmospheres with an American gas oil from the spei. Weight 0.84o washed at ordinary temperature. The gas left the washer with a concentration of 90 percent hydrogen. The relaxed from the washing oil Gases still contained about 15 percent hydrogen.
