Fotel z materialu tekstylnego wchodzi w sklad grupy mebli wypoczynkowych - tapicerowanych i jest przeznaczony do wypoczynku w pozycji siedzacej. Istote wzoru przemyslowego stanowi nowe przestrzenne uksztaltowanie poszczególnych elementów tworzacych fotel przejawiajace sie w ich ksztalcie, ukladzie linii, kolorystyce, sposobie wykonczenia i rozwiazaniu konstrukcyjnemu zmierzajace do osiagniecia celów estetycznych. Siedzisko jest oparte na bazie ramy drewnianej pokrytej w górnej czesci warstwa filcu, na którym ulozona jest formatka sprezynowa typu bonell. It consists of the following elements: a seat (Fig. 1A) and a backrest integrated with side panels (Fig. IB). The textile armchair is part of a group of upholstered lounge furniture and is intended for relaxation in a seated position. The essence of the industrial design is the new spatial shaping of the individual elements constituting the armchair, manifested in their shape, line layout, colors, finish, and structural solution, aimed at achieving aesthetic goals. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the drawings and photographs attached to the application, showing the armchair from a front view (Fig. 1) and a side view (Fig. 2). The seat (Fig. 1A) is a two-part element in the front view. It is presented as two rectangles, Fig. 1a and Fig. 1b, placed horizontally on top of each other along their longer edges, touching each other along their longer sides. The base of the actual seat rests on the lower rectangle. Its frontal surface is shaped like an inverted trapezoid, Fig. 1a, and its adjacent sides, connected to the backrest, resemble a V-shaped circle. The seat rests on a wooden frame covered in the upper section with a layer of felt, on which a Bonnell spring unit is placed. The spring unit is covered externally with a layer of flexible polyurethane foam and upholstery wadding. The entire structure is covered with upholstery fabric and permanently mounted between the armrests and backrest. The backrest, connected to the armrests, Fig. 1b, is formed by five faces of a hexagonal prism. The edges and outer surfaces of the prism walls are rounded with arches. The upper part of the prism walls is turned into a flange (Fig. 1d), which is positioned at an acute angle to the horizontal. In the top view, the armchair's sides, connected to the backrest, resemble a "horseshoe" (Fig. 2e). The structure is based on a frame made of wood, chipboard, and MDF. The entire structure is covered with cardboard and wadding, and in the upper part, which serves as the armrests and backrest, the board and wooden elements are additionally covered with a layer of flexible polyurethane foam. The entire structure is covered with textile upholstery. The base of the armchair is fitted with four chrome-plated feet mounted in the corners (Fig. 2f). Besides supporting the armchair's structure, they also serve an aesthetic purpose due to their characteristic, arched shape. Essential features of the industrial design: the armchair made of textile material comprises all the components of the armchair described and presented in the illustration, i.e., their shape, position relative to each other, and the function described in the design description. In addition to their load-bearing function, they also perform an aesthetic function due to their characteristic arched shape.
