Abstract

The subject of the application are primer sequences enabling the analysis of gene expression levels in barley leaves and roots and a method of identifying barley that has been in contact with cadmium based on the analysis of the expression levels of these genes. In more detail, the application concerns primers for identifying genes with the identifiers HORVU.MOREX.r2.2HG0096090, HORVU.MOREX.r2.7HG0622200, encoding haloacid dehalogenase and methyltransferase, respectively. Primers were designed for each gene to determine their expression level in barley leaves and roots using the proposed gene expression level testing system.
