Liofilizator charakteryzuje się tym, że procesowa komora (1) sublimacyjna w przekroju poprzecznym ukształtowana jest o zarysie jajowym i posiada górny segment (2) o zarysie kołowym oraz dolny segment (3) o owalnym zarysie, gdzie w górnym segmencie (2) o zarysie kołowym usytuowane są zespoły półek (4) grzewczych z produktami liofilizowanymi umieszczonymi na tacach (5), zaś w dolnym segmencie (3) o owalnym zarysie osadzony jest co najmniej jeden zespół kondensatorów (6).
