Hybrydowe uszczelnienie wału charakteryzuje się tym, że w obudowie (2) osadzona jest tulejka kołnierzowa symetryczna (3), a na wale (1) osadzone są dwie tulejki kołnierzowe niesymetryczne (4) albo w obudowie (2) osadzone są dwie tulejki kołnierzowe niesymetryczne (4), a na wale (1) osadzona jest tulejka kołnierzowa symetryczna (3). Na tulejkach kołnierzowych symetrycznych (3) usytuowane są wielokrawędziowe nabiegunniki (8) w taki sposób, że przylegają obustronnie do ich kołnierzy (3a), a na tulejkach kołnierzowych niesymetrycznych (4) usytuowane są wielokrawędziowe nabiegunniki (7) w taki sposób, że przylegają obustronnie do ich kołnierzy (4a). Kołnierze (3a, 4a) posiadają równomiernie rozłożone otwory, w których umocowane są walcowe magnesy trwałe 5,6 spolaryzowane osiowo. The flanges (3a, 4a) have evenly distributed holes in which cylindrical permanent magnets 5,6, axially polarized, are fixed. The magnetic fluid (9) is contained in the annular gaps (δ) formed between the sealing protrusions of the multi-edge pole pieces (7 and 8) and the corresponding external or internal cylindrical surfaces of the symmetrical flange sleeves (3) or asymmetric flange sleeves (4).
